How to Choose a Swish Curtain Track

Swish have been designing curtain track systems for decades and offer a solution for virtually every window type. Whether you're fitting out a bay window, a caravan, or a full-length living room window, this guide will help you pick the right Swish track.

1. Corded or Uncorded?

Corded tracks (like the Supreme Cord) are operated by pulling a cord from one side — ideal for large, heavy curtains or hard-to-reach windows. Lengths of 300cm and longer are supplied in two pieces with a centre joiner and the pull cord is at both ends, one per curtain for a pair of curtains. Uncorded tracks (like the Delux and Sologlyde) are hand-drawn and suit most standard installations.

2. Track Only or Complete with Fittings?

Track Only suits trade customers or those replacing existing fittings. Complete with Fittings includes end stops, gliders, and brackets — everything you need to install straight away.

3. Straight, Bay, or Curved Windows?

All Swish PVC tracks can be bent by hand to fit bay or curved windows. Aluminium tracks (Supreme Cord) can also be bent on site.

Corded tracks cannot be reverse bent.

4. What Length Do You Need?

All Swish tracks can be trimmed to size with a junior hacksaw — no specialist tools required. Order the next size up from your window width (remember to allow extra each end (usually around 6-12" each end)
